USA SWIMMING SELECTS MANTA RAYS TO VISIT

USA Swimming selects a few select teams every year to visit based on past achievements and future potential. The Mason Manta Rays were selected for 2011.  Scott Colby, a Sports Performance Consultant with USA Swimming will visit on January 25 and 26. There is no cost for this visit from USA Swimming.

The consultant will work with the Manta Ray staff on various topics that include incorporating video into the program, season training, the latest in stroke technique, nutrition, and Dryland training.   

The consultant will also work with the older three practice group athletes on stroke technique, nutrition and recovery protocol, and understanding race analysis.
