Weekend practice times Friday, February 15 - Normal practices except National & Platinum begin at 3:00 pm; Blue 4:45-6:00 pm Saturday, February 16 - High school swimmers/JO swimmers not in the Regional Meet 1:30-3:30 pm Sunday, February 17 - High school swimmers/JO swimmers not in the Regional Meet 1:30-3:30 pm Monday, February 18 - High school swimmers/JO swimmers not in the Regional Meet 1:30-3:30 pm Normal practice schedule resumes on Tuesday, February 19.

The three week journey to the High School State Championship began this weekend with the Sectional meet. The Manta Rays had 40 swimmers competing in the meet representing six different local high schools. 36 Manta Rays will advance to compete in individual events next weekend at the Southwest Ohio District Championships at Miami University based on performances from the Sectional Meet. The Manta Rays had a very successful meet in Indianapolis this past weekend. Manta Ray swimmers combined for 268 lifetime best swims. After Saturday the team was in second place by over 100 points but stormed back on Sunday to win the meet by over 600 points. The 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls, 11-12 Boys, and 13 & over Boys each won their respective age groups. ZOE THATCHER SELECTED FOR USA SWIMMING NATIONAL SELECT CAMP Every year, USA Swimming brings sixty of the top USA Swimming member athletes in the nation for a once-in-a-lifetime camp experience. Thirty male and thirty female athletes are selected to participate this prestigious camp. The fastest two eligible athletes in each event are invited. Zoe Thatcher, 16, was selected based off her long course mile (1500m) performance this past summer.
