Saturday, July 3 practice schedule will be as follows: National - 7:00-10:00 a.m. Platinum - 9:00-11:15 a.m. Varsity - No practice Gold - 9:00-11:00 a.m. All practices will be at normal times on Monday, July 5.

Dear Mason families and swimmers, We would like to celebrate this Fourth of July holiday by remembering our troops serving overseas. Care packages and letters are a terrific way to say thanks to our deployed troops and to let them know they are not forgotten while they are so far from home. We will be collecting used paperbacks and DVDs along with beef jerky, soft packs of baby wipes (medium sized refill packs are best; large containers take up too much space), and thick black or white boot crew socks....

Late entries are being accepted for the Ohio Open Water Championships on June 30. If you wish to add this meet, please email Coach Todd by Monday, June 28.

The entry deadline for the Ohio JO Championships has been extended to July 11. If your child is going to participate, please go ahead and sign them up. Any swimmer who makes a JO time on Sunday of the Regional meet will be able to enter that event at JO's. Preliminary relay assignments will be available next week.

Those of you looking to meet volunteer hours have an opportunity to work at the Kids Zone at Red, Rhythm, and Boom on Saturday, July 3. They are looking for workers between the hours of 2:30-11:30 p.m. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Richard L. Back, Special Events Coordinator at (513) 229-8555 (Office) or email him at [email protected]. All hours worked at the event can be applied towards your Manta Ray volunteer requirement.

Just another reminder letting the swimmers know that we have access to the high school locker rooms for the entire summer. We encourage swimmers from all groups to utilize those locker rooms for the remainder of the summer.

We have to alter the practice schedule due to a Water Moccasin Meet on Thursday, June 24. The following groups are affected: Blue, Bronze, Gold, and Varsity. Those groups will follow these practice changes: Varsity - Thursday, June 24 No double, 9:45 a.m.-noon only Gold - Thursday, June 24 - practice will take place 3-5 p.m. instead of the regular practice time. We had a great David Web meet! This meet is always a great tune up for all of the upcoming championship meets. Not only did we have a lot of best times, we had more swimmers swimming fast enough to swim in finals than ever before at this meet! Congrats! As a team, we finished second behind the host team! Even if our fun was cut a little short by the storm, we were still able to have a great time on the river and then at the Lukens’ house. Special thanks goes out to the chaperones that braved the river and storm with the 50 swimmers from HS Varsity, Platinum, and National. They were Donna West, Donna Guarino, and Mark & Jackie Sullivan! Thanks to the Lukens’ family as well for feeding and entertaining everyone after the trip!
